Ultima Networks, Inc. is a local Internet Service Provider that has been serving the Salinas Valley since February of 1996. Ultima Networks, Inc. acquired SalinasNet, Inc. and Ultima Tool of San Francisco in July, 1998. Ultima Networks is locally owned and operated, and is a family run business. Scott Nelson founded the company in November of 1995 (as SalinasNet, Inc.) with partners, Tom Nelson, Mary Nelson and Timothy Ryan.
